Regalia The magnificent stone city of Regalia is where most of the Underland humans reside. This is also the humans' main trading and military base. |

The Palace The Palace was built by Regalia's architects to be virtually impenetrable; there is no doorway, and the windows don't begin until around two hundred feet up the smooth stone walls. This is not only the home of Regalian royalty; it is also a refuge for all residents of the city during a battle or ambush. The High Hall is here, as well as the hospital. |

The Arena The Arena serves many purposes; it is a center for battle training, but along with this parties, sporting events, meetings, and other large gatherings are held here. The Arena also offers a way into and out of the city, with tunnels to various other parts of the Underland. |

The Fount During the many wars over territory in Regalia's early days, a group of people decided that they did not wish to fight for land that wasn't theirs to begin with. They began to build on a small plot of land around a day's journey from Regalia, and called it the Fount. As of now, the Fount is a small settlement protected by a raging river, and its small number of citizens are working to establish a place of peace rather than war. |

Garden of the Hesperides Sandwich's people couldn't bear to leave behind everything, and this included the thriving plant life in the Overland. Shortly after their descent they discovered a fertile plain near the river, and planted a lush garden. A dike was built to prevent the plain from flooding, and the golden apple trees that are found here will grow nowhere else in the Underland. |

Caverns The land belonging to the Fliers is made up of large, airy caves and passages, perfect for its winged inhabitants. Every flier has its own cave to roost in. |

The Pools A variety of underground springs have formed the Pools in the heart of the flier lands. You will be hard-pressed to find a human or flier that hasn't come here at least once to have a relaxing afternoon. |

The Pillar For centuries the fliers have used the Pillar as a gathering place, to spread news and socialize. Around the pillar is a sheer drop into blackness, so if you don't have wings...watch your step. |

The Tunnels The Tunnels are where the majority of the rat population live. They stretch for miles through gnawer territory, and have countless caves branching off of them. The gnawers make their nests in these caves, but be warned...many don't welcome visitors. |

The Rivers It's no wonder the gnawers are such great fishers; they have plenty of opportunity to practice. Two rivers, both filled with fish, run through their land, emptying into the Waterway. Gnawers teach their pups from birth to fish in them. Now that the humans are in the Underland the rats must protect their rivers, though, for those killers have been eyeing them from the start. |

Plain of Tartarus Named by the fliers, the Plain of Tartarus is a vast cavern in the middle of a branching web of tunnels. Arranged battles are often held here, and its large size makes it an ideal place for the gnawer army to rest when they're on the march. |

The Labyrinth Just beyond the Tankard lies the Labyrinth, a twisting maze of tunnels and passageways that are close to impossible to navigate. Few reside here, as it is so deadly, but as the gnawer population grew a small number of rats chose to live here, distant from the rest of the Underland creatures, save for the nasty serpents that dwell at the bottom of the Tankard. |

Northern Colony The colony of nibblers to the north of the Underland is relatively close to Regalia. It is the smallest of the nibbler colonies and made up of networks of tunnels and dens. The nibblers living here are curious about their new human neighbors, but they remain wary of them. |

Eastern Colony The Eastern Colony is the largest of the nibbler colonies, and is made up of the same types of tunnels and caves as the Northern Colony. A small but strong river runs through the area, and it is this same river that feeds the small streams of the jungle that is quite nearby. |

Southwestern Colony Somewhere to the southwest of the Waterway lies the third nibbler colony. This one is actually made up of three enormous caverns, all connected. The nibblers live all together, rather than in seperate caves. This colony is not very far from gnawer territory, though, so the mice here constantly live in fear of being attacked. |

The Dens The crawlers' land is very rarely attacked, and this is mainly due to the fact that it is spanned by the Dens, a large, sprawling plot of tunnels and caves that share one unique quality; none of the ceilings in these tunnels are over five feet high. Most are even smaller than that, which suits their six legged inhabitants perfectly. |

The Plains Most of crawler territory is made up of the plains, a wide open area that is easy to defend because, in the event of an attack, the crawlers would just retreat farther and farther until their enemies grew tired. |

The Fishing River The rushing river that passes through Regalia calms as it passes through this area, thus providing the crawlers with a safe place to fish. This is their main source of food. |

The Webs Throughout the tunnels of the Spinner Lands are countless webs strung from the walls of stone. Every spider has its own web, and there are those that serve other purposes as well. |

The Queen's Web The colossal web belonging to the spider Queen is found in the very center of the huge tunnel that crosses through spinner territory. It's not only the Queen that comes here, though; because of it's central location, many spinners come here for meetings and to share news. |

The Barricades The Barricades are actually two giant clumps of webs that separate the two ends of the main spinner tunnel from the rest of the Underland. Guards are posted here constantly, but there's really no need for them; these webs take a long time to break through and by then, the spinners will have heard you coming. |

The Hive The Hive is a huge, dome shaped cavern with hundreds of tiny caves perforating the walls some even as high as a hundred feet. Every shiner has a cave, although many share with others. During the day the hive is aglow with multicolored lights from its whiny inhabitants. |

The Meeting Hall The Meeting Hall is a smaller cavern just off of the main Hive, and it is here that most shiner meetings are held, important or not. Of course, whether or not the shiners can work up the willpower to come to these meetings is a different story... |

The Hoard The Hoard is exactly what it sounds like: an immense collection of food that the shiners have accumulated. It is stored in another cavern off of the Hive and arranged in a giant pile. At any time of day you'll find shiners there, eating and talking...well, mostly eating. And it doesn't matter if some of the food goes bad, anyway. They'll still eat it. |

The Waterway The Waterway is a vast subterranean ocean, occupying a large portion of the center of the Underland. If you plan on traveling it by boat or by flier, beware, for there are many untold dangers here, the kind that one would never face on dry land. |

The Dead Land The Dead Land has its name for a reason; it is a barren place with little to no food sources and little opportunity for long term survival. If you plan on coming here, be prepared. |

The Firelands This place gets its name from the large number of volcanoes, both active and inactive, that can be found here. It is a place avoided by most due to the foul air, the wild wind currents, spewing lava, and various other unpleasantries.Watch your step, or you'll likely find yourself in the path of an erupting volcano. |

Hades Hall Just after crossing the Swag you'll find yourself in Hades Hall, a vast path even deeper in the ground than the rest of the Underland. It takes at least three days to travel by flier, and ownership has been disputed over for centuries, long before the humans arrived. Beware, for Hades Hall houses a number of hostile creatures. |

Queenshead Queenshead has always been the place to get information, as scouts, messengers from all species take advantage of this neutral place very often. Queenshead gets its name from its distinguishing landmark: a rock shaped somewhat like the head of a woman wearing a crown. |

The Jungle Stretching across the eastern side of the Underland, the jungle is not a place for the faint of heart. Concealed in the endless mass of vines are a number of dangers, from poison dart frogs to flesh-eating fish. There's also tainted water and man-eating plants, too, if you're unlucky enough to stumble upon them. Steer clear of this place. |
